Chennai: Vishal starring Paayum Puli directed by Suseenthiran was released worldwide on 4th September and Paayum Puli first day collections recorded as 3.3 cores approximately.
Tamil actor Vishal starrer Paayum Puli movie was released on 4th September 2015 across the world and it was opened with mixed review. The movie is directed by Suseenthiran who has received fame with his previous film Vennila Kabadi Kuzhu, beautiful Kajal Aggarwal played female lead role in this.
The movie was opened over 350+ screens across the globe and estimated to gross 3 to 4 crores on the first day. After facing problems with some of theatres owners the movie managed to collect estimated gross approximately Rs.3.3 crore on its first day.
Actor Vishal was played as an undercover police officer role in this whereas Kajal played as a docile girl who scared of everything. Vishal’s action entertainer opened with huge expectations, the story of movie is different than other movies which were released in the same day. So, the action movie has managed to collect Rs.3.3 crores on the first day itself.
The movie is produced by S.Madhan, P.Madhan under the banner of Vendhar movies and received positive reviews from critics. The film initially involved in some controversies over the title of the film finally it received moderate response from audience. The story inspired from a real life incident and has a message for the audience. D Imman’s composed music for ths cinematography done by Velraj and is edited by Anthony.
The movie is also dubbed into Telugu version with a title Jayasurya also collected around Rs.2.54 crores with mixed reviews.
