VITEEE 2016 Exam Details – VIT University (VIT), Vellore has announced the exam dates and paper pattern for Engineering Entrance Examination 2016. The exam is a computer based test will be held from Wednesday, April 06, 2016 to Sunday, April 17, 2016.

VIT University Engineering Entrance Examination is conducted for taking admission to the Bachelor of Technology (BTech) programme for the academic year 2016. To get admission in to various engineering courses at VIT University, candidate must have to qualify in the entrance exam conducted by the university. To write this exam, candidate should have completed class 12 and secured an aggregate of 60% in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology in the qualifying examination (+2/intermediate). The average marks obtained in the all the subjects put together should be 50 percent for the SC/ST and northeastern states’ candidates.

Paper pattern:

The VIT Engineering Entrance Exam is a computer-based test. The exam duration is of 2 hours and 30 minutes. The test consists of objective-type multiple choice questions and is divided into three parts as listed below.

Part 1:  Physics

Part 2:  English

Part 3:  Chemistry

Part 4:  Mathematics/Biology

Part 1, Part 3 and Part 4 contains 40 questions, whereas Part 2 consists of 5 questions. There will be no negative marking.

Declaration of results (tentative): April 29
