Chinese Handset Maker Vivo to Start Manufacturing Unit at Noida, India

Noida, July 8: Vivo Global, a Chinese handset maker’s Mobile manufacturing plant will be seen in Greater Noida. Officials said that this includes as investment of Rs. 12.5 crore and is expected to be started by October.

One of the best Chinese handset makers, Vivo Global came up with an extension of their manufacturing plant. The Vivo officials decided to build a mobile unit in Greater Noida with an investment on Rs. 12.5 crore. Moreover they want to establish it as soon as possible by October, 2015. The company is aiming to sell around 2 Million handsets by the end of this year.

Their market is to accompany 4G LTE devices that count for 40 per cent of the sales. Reports say that the manufacturing unit will be established in 30,000 square metres of land in Noida. And by December, their expected investment is Rs. 12.5 crore.

They are into the mobile developing and market field with a tag line, “The Smart Phones Made Just for You and Your Indulgences”. Their customers say that Vivo is Hi-Fi due to their products quality and services.

Alex Feng, CEO of Vivo India and chief marketing officer of Vivo Global said, “We have taken 30,000 square metres of land on lease in Greater Noida and expect to start assembling our smartphones by October 2015. In the first phase (till December 2015), we will invest Rs 12.5 crore in the facility”.
