Vodafone Invests Rs 500 Crore in New Delhi to Improve Service

Approximately Rs. 500 crore is invested by Vodafone Company in the months between Aprils – November in New Delhi for increasing the service quality of it. They have arranged a war room to tackle the issues of the company.

Vodafone India has spent approximately Rs. 500 crore in New Delhi as well as in the National Capital Region for improving the service quality of it. Sunil Sood who is managing director of the company said with the media on Friday that the company has exactly established a war room in New Delhi to discuss and solving the service problems.

Sood also added that the company was taking up the recommendation for full fill the call drops of the customers with the government. He also noted that all the companies must get together for solving the call drops problems.

Telecom operators added over 2,000 mobile towers in New Delhi in the last three months only for checking the threat of call drops. As per the official in Department of Telecom, 2,092 mobile sites both 2G and 3G have been added in the Delhi service area in the past 12 weeks. With these results, the call drop rate has been come down greatly.

Official said by sharing the data that the call drop rate of the Vodafone was come down 0.3-2.97% from 1.53-6.63 in New Delhi. Call Drop rate of Bharti Airtel’s was in the range of 2.92-17.77 percent now it is come down to 0.08-2.98 percent.
