Bhopal, July 17: Central Bureau of Investigation is likely to open its new office in a haunted bungalow in Bhopal which is considered as unlucky, to find the mystery deaths in the Vyapam scam.
The premier investigating agency CBI has decided to open its new office in the bungalow from where it will investigate the Vyapam scam. No one wants to be anywhere near this abandoned bungalow, which is better known as the Bhoot Bungalow in Bhopal but CBI wants residence here.
The Bungalow B-10 is located in the posh Professor Colony and it was built over the past few years, over the past years the area got bad name because of ultimate deaths of its residents and other serious disputes. Over the last few years the bungalow remained vacant doors locked and windows closed. The last person to reside the bungalow was Laxman Singh Gaud who was the education minister of Madhya Pradesh.
But the education minister Laxman Singh Gaud was died on 11th February, 2008 in a freak road crash. After his death that bungalow was remained unoccupied. Several bureaucrats and IPS officers declined to stay in that because of mystic activities. Then the building was allotted to district panchayat office, but because of some disturbed situation the office was shifted to another building and that was locked.
But all of that has not discouraged the CBI, they decided to open new office in that Bungalow, which is about 200 meters from the Chief Ministers house.
