The movie ‘Wazir’ is an unlikely friend’s story of both a wheelchair-bound chess grandmaster and a brave ATS officer. Both persons have come together with a grief and a strange fate twist and decided to help each other to win the biggest games of their lives.
Unfortunately, the mysterious dangerous opponents have hidden in the shadows and who will set them a checkmate is a remaining story. Legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan and Farhan Akhtar are played roles of unlikely friends.
Danish Ali (Farhan Akhtar) is an ATS officer who is grieving the death of his daughter who was killed in a terrorist gun-battle only due to his negligence. His beloved wife (Aditi Rao Hydari) blames him for their daughter’s death and is also suspended from his duty after the screw-up in the operation to arrest the terrorists responsible for his daughter’s death.
After being distanced by his wife, he even contemplates a suicide but somewhat adjourns his decision when he meets Panditji (Amitabh Bachchan). Panditji asks Danish to investigate the real reason behind his daughter’s death, who was allegedly killed in a mishap at a minister’s house. Danish then decides to investigate the case, as the search digs deeper, Panditji is attacked by a culprit named Wazir and to which Danish rushes to help his friend and protect him from future attacks.
Who is Wazir and does he have anything to do with the minister? Will Danish be able to uncover the mystery and protect Panditji? Is the rest of the story?
Aditi Rao Hydari, Neil Nitin Mukesh, John Abraham, Manav Kaul and Anjum Sharma have also performed well. Bejoy Nambiar has directed this movie very nice and in all elements such as thriller, romantic and etc the movie has made well.
The audience is feeling well during seeing the movie and it gives a lot of excitement. All characters have been taken mysterious way and giving a good response from the audience. Technical way also the movie is obtaining a good response and at the time of crime scenes, the music has given well.
