West Bengal ITI Entrance Exam Postponed to July 5 for Paper Leak

West Bengal, June 29: WB Industrial Training Institutes (ITI) entrance exam has been cancelled and postponed to July 5 after paper leak incident (previously scheduled on Sunday).

West Bengal State Council for Vocational Training, WBSCVET is commenced to conduct Common Entrance Test, CET for the Industrial Training Institutes ITI in the state. Due to a paper leak, the entrance test has been cancelled and is rescheduled for July 5. The management team agreed for this and thought of conducting the exam in the coming days keeping the students future in mind.

The cancellation process has been granted after the incident of Saumyadip Mahato, who got his admit card with dog’s photo and his details. He is the candidate who belongs to Jhargram in West Midnapore and was astonished for a different photo in his admit card that is downloaded.

The State Minister said that there is a paper leak and the exam is cancelled as of now. West Bengal Technical Education and Training Minister Ujjal Biswas said, “As soon as we got the news that the question papers have been leaked in several districts, we ordered the cancellation of the exam”.

All the students who are ought to write the entrance test are informed about the cancellation through SMS at 8 AM on Sunday. Now, the exam is decided to be conducted on July, 5 that is 6 days to go.
