WhatsApp Video Calling Feature Available in Beta Version

The new feature that is expected from a long time has been added in. The WhatsApp Video Calling beta version has been released.

The WhatsApp Video Calling app beta version has been released for the testers. The app is not fully functional or available for the normal users. The beta version is available for download from the google play store as well or from APK mirror file.

At present, the beta version of the WhatsApp video calling function when used, it is just displaying the message that this function is currently unavailable. There are two types of calling functions featuring in WhatsApp. One is the Video Calling and the other is just Audio call. It is still unclear about whether the new feature will support WhatsApp groups or not.

This feature will be placing Whats App next to those who are already providing such services. Snapchat, Facebook Messenger, Hangouts, KakaoTalk, Viber and Skype are the competitors who are providing the same services from a long time from now. Among these Skype occupies the leading position for video-calling services.

WhatsApp Video Calling can be used initially by the 1 billion monthly active users nearly. The Indian users may be having a little bit of problem with this feature as the network issues prevail in the country. The service providers have to focus on that too for such type of feature to work smoothly. Earlier WhatsApp has added the features like end-to-end encryption, document sharing. Further, there are plans to introduce the feature of call-back and voicemail support.
