Mr.Tim Cook, CEO Apple Inc. strongly believes that the customers who purchase their products have the Trusted them for the safety and security features that are incorporated in their product and they themselves cannot breach that trust. Moreover Apple is known for the Ethics and they cannot betray their customer’s trust.

On the other hand the Govt. of U.S says that the need has a raised to do so because the cause is so strong that Apple should go for it.

Actual issue started between the two when an terrorist attack was made on Dec 2nd where 14 people were killed. The terrorists used the iPhone before the attack. The terrorists were wife and husband, strong believers and loyalists of islamic state terrorist group.

The U.S govt had asked Apple to unlock the iPhone by providing a software that is used to hack the phone and retrieve the data that is saved in the device with a password, as there may be any information regarding the terrorists that could help the FBI for further investigation.

This is denied by the Apple Inc. as they argue that they cannot weaken their product’s security by providing a backdoor software of hacking as this is not confined to a single device.

One has to wait and watch as this may be historic event. The Law has its own argument and Apple has its own. Both have a point of acceptance. Both are right in their ways of arguments.

Anyways, Apple was given 5 business working days by the court in Washington to decide and deliver their decision in this regard and further proceedings will be definitely interesting to watch.
