Chennai: Tamil director Lingusamy is planning for a remake of Paiyaa movie. Tamannaah may play the female lead. Will it add some success juice in her career?

Lingusamy is a renowned Tamil director. He has directed many successful movies to his name. Most of his movies were highly successful at Box-Office. But as the director entered production phase he started to face down hill.

Right now he is even struggling to release ‘Rajini Murugan’. He caught in a web of controversies too. To come out of it, he has planned to go for a safe bet. Lingusamy earlier made a road-trip movie ‘Paiyaa’ in 2010. It was an all time block-buster.

Lingusamy himself produced the movie under Thirupathi Bros banner. It was a huge success and later was remade in Bengali as ‘Jaaneman’ and in Kannada as ‘Ajith’. Now the director plans to make that movie in Hindi and get back into the game.

He already fixed Vidyut Jammwal as the lead role. Now we hear that he is in talk with Tamannaah to do female lead once again. Lingusamy is right now making some changes to script which suit Bollywood Audience. If everything goes in his favor, shooting will start from next month.
