Chennai: Upcoming Kollywood movie, Trisha Illana Nayanthara is in trouble now to pay 75 lakhs to Ananda Vikatan and is not clarified whether this film releases tomorrow or not.
Trisha Illana Nayanthara features G.V Prakash, ‘Kayal’ fame Anandhi in lead roles and Manisha Yadav is also doing a crucial role. The movie is produced by CJ Jayakumar and now a new problem has risen for this Tamil cinema. The producer has to pay debt of 75 lakhs to ‘Ananda Vikatan’ magazine. As the cheque he handed over to the magazine has bounced, the company filed a legal case.
The magazine company requested High court to stop release of movie unless money is paid. High court after hearing both the sides ordered CJ Jayakumar to repay amount within 4.6.2015. The court also issued threat that failing to do so, movie will be confiscated.
But producer never paid and hearing came again after 4.6.2015 and CJ Jayakumar never made proper answers. High court judge immediately ordered CJ Jayakumar to pay sum of 75 lakhs within 2 weeks and till then the release was stalled.
When things are worse, he has went against court decision and now he has confirmed that movie will release on September 17 (Tomorrow) and bookings are also happening. For going against court order, a defamation case has also been filed now. CJ Jayakumar will appear before court today and he is expected to give a valid explanation. Chances are bleak for the release of the movie.
