The Xavier Aptitude Test – XAT 2016 Registration process is going on and interested candidates can apply before November 30, 2015. The XAT is a paper based test scheduled to conduct on January 3, 2016.

XAT is taken for admission into academic programmes of XLRI (Xavier Labour Relations Institute) and XAT Associate Member Institutes. The exam is conducted by XLRI on behalf of the XAMI. All those aspirants who are interested in appearing for this test should have completed three years of graduation or equivalent in any discipline from a recognized university from India/abroad. An applicant who completed their final examination by June 10 can also eligible to apply.

All registered aspirants have to know about the test paper pattern. XAT is a pen-paper based examination will be of 3 hours duration, from 10:30 am to 1:30 pm. The exam paper will consist of 4 sections namely, Verbal and Logical Ability, Decision Making, Quantitative Ability and Data Interpretation and General Knowledge. Candidates should that the marks obtained in GK section will not be calculated for determining the percentile and cut off at the first stage of selection. However, XLRI and some other Associate Member Institutes may use GK score at the time of final selection.

The XAT score is valid for more than 100 instituted for taking admissions. The admit cards for this test is made available to download from the official website prior to a week before the examination. The examination will be held at various centers across the countries.
