Hyderabad, June 19: Yadlapalli Pranjala ranked World No. 19 in International Tennis Federation ITF Juniors circuit, she is the first girl to achieve this Tennis Ranking in India.
Hyderabad City girl Yadlapalli Pranjala ranked in Best 20 for contemporary ITF juniors circuit and stood in World No. 19. Under the guidance of Ilyas Ghouse at the GVK Tennis Academy, Jubilee Hills, she practiced day and night to get selected. Optimum support from her parents, coach made her rank n this way it seems.
In a press meet, Pranjala shared her excitement and said, “It’s a great feeling to be the best in the ITF juniors’ circuit from India. But, I know there is still a long way to go and I am grateful to my coach Ilyas Sir (Ilyas Ghouse at the GVK Tennis Academy, Jubilee Hills) for all the support”.
Records say that Sania Mirza was ranked in No. 20, now Pranjala came up with a new achievement of young talent. Her talent is after Saniz Mirza and this great achievement is by virtue of her consistency in the big league.
She is the one who won was a runner-up in Thailand ITF juniors and also won 2014 Grade IV ITF juniors title, now is the winner in the ITF Junior Grade I in Chandigarh. Pranjala is student of 12th class from Chinmaya Vidyalaya (Begumpet). GVK Group supported him to win this Tennis match.
