Yamaha has started a manufacturing plant in Tamil Nadu for manufacturing the automobile spare parts for its products.
The two wheeler automobile in India inaugurated its new spare parts centre in Tamil Nadu, India. The Make in India concept has been adopted well by the company. The Unit was set up with an investment of Rs. 580 million. The Inauguration was attended by the top officials from Yamaha Motor and Mitsui company. The new centre is located within the premises of Yamaha’s manufacturing plant.
This opening of the centre will play a significant role in achieving the company’s goals in India. It will further strengthen the profit contribution factors of the company.
Yamaha Motor’s business foundation and supply chain management operations in India, Managing Director- Takashi Terabayashi said that the centre ensures smooth and quality supply of spare parts in South India as well as other parts of the country.
In the present industry scenario, customer satisfaction is the key to survival and growth. Timely supply of genuine spare parts to the customers is the key to success. Keeping this in view the company would perform as per the Chairman of Yamaha Motor India Group Companies, Hiroaki Fujita said.
Currently, the company has 20 spare parts distributors in 15 states and more than 3,000 spare parts retailers across the country.
