Yash Raj Film is an Indian entertainment company which is established by Yash Chopra, now the company has teamed up with Twitter India to reachits audience with their movies, via its twitter handle @YRF, the banner aims to connect with every Indian film with a mobile phone.

Anand Gurnani, vice president (digital) of Yash Raj Films said that “the film production is thinking to spread progressthrough mobile, social media and internet with an aim to reach their mobile –friendly audiences and to analyse consumption patterns and trends across web and mobile. Moreover, the movie is associated to the company’s mobile-first approach”.

Pratiksha Rao, who is the head of TV and entertainment partnerships Twitter India, said that Twitter is aiming to reach every person through mobile phone, so it accepted the concept of YRF banner as a service to fulfil their goal.

Twitter India will send selective tweets as a SMS via @YRF to users who subscribed to the services by giving a missed call to 0-75054-75054. This feature will work on any network or phone with free of charge for online as well as offline users.

Twitter India users can simply give a missed call to 0-75054-75054 number to get YRF regular updates via SMS while at offline.
