Justice Vilas Afzulpurkar, judge of Hyderabad High Court was dealing with the petitions that are filed by some minority engineering colleges. In that, it was stated that JNTU issued a circular last week for the selection of faculty in order to fill vacancies.

It also insisted that the schedule to be done as soon as possible and one of the university nominee need to be included in the selection committee. It was also mentioned that the JNTU was interfering with administration of minority institutions.

The petitioners said that this is violative of Article 30 of Constitution. This states that they are violating a rule which gives freedom for the minority communities in order to run institutions.

The judge of Hyderabad High court posted all the cases to Monday.  He then directed the respondents to file counter affidavit and granted interim orders for time being.
