Road Transport Authority officials of Telangana State started collecting money at 14 different RTA check posts of the state for the private vehicles out of the place.

Telangana RTA check posts are tightened now. Road Transport Authority officials of the state started collecting entry tax for private vehicles from Tuesday midnight.

It is reported that the bus drivers, motor vehicle drivers from al the National Highways are supposed to pay temporary entry tax and even they are paying temporary tax for a week in anticipation. Hoping that the issue will be solved shortly, all the vehicle drivers are now at RTA check posts.

Some of them are paying for a short while some of paying for quarterly as per the MV tax rules issued by the Government of Telangana’s G.O. MS. No. 15 on Monday. This came into rule from the midnight of Tuesday as told by G.O. Ms. 43.

As per the calculations, 750 buses run daily whereas two of them were stopped at the Nizamabad RTA check post for denying paying the entry tax.
