Chennai: Due to heavy rains in Chennai, six Kashmiri students who are studying at SRM University of that place were trapped in Tambaram, government is taking certain measures to rescue them.

Chennai rains have caused more devastation and people are still suffering the wrath of Nature’s fury. Tambaram and its surroundings are especially flooded in huge way. People are suffering from waist high water. The rains have stopped for past 24 hours, but still the flood waters trouble the residents.

In this case Six Kashmiri students who are studying at SRM University, Chennai were trapped in Tambaram. The parents of all the six students requested the Government to rescue them. The six students were named as Arbaz salim, Nawaz Mukhtar, Musa Wakil, Mehran, Meeran and Adil.

One of the student’s mother said, “We are very much worried as we don’t know about the whereabouts of our wards. The last time we spoke to them was in the morning when they had left their flats and were stranded at Tambaram, after that we don’t know their whereabouts.

We are a lot worried.” A rescue team person said, they are searching for those six boys through helicopter and they were not seen anywhere. Stay tuned with us for more updates.
