Mohanlal latest release Oppam got a commercial success at box office. Oppam is the 2016 Malayalam crime thriller written and directed by Priya Darshan. The movie got a tremendously positive response from viewers. Even critics have also appreciated the film plot. The film Oppam has become the talk of the town because it has a unique content and huge star cast. Now the makers are planning for Oppam Movie Remake in all other languages like Telugu, Tamil, and Hindi. Even other film circles are also showing interest to remake.

However, an exciting update was out regarding this film. Oppam movie will be remade into Telugu and veteran actor Victory Venkatesh will be essaying the role of Mohanlal in Telugu version. The official update will be announced soon regarding this.

Earlier Mohanlal’s Malayalam super hit film Drishyam had also remade it in Telugu as Drushyam starring Venkatesh in the lead role, and it became super hit in both Telugu and Tamil. However, the rumors have become stronger after Samuthirakani sharing little information through social media.

Meanwhile, Venkatesh is not responding on this and not yet announced any official statement. Victory Venkatesh is the only senior hero in Telugu to apt for this film. No one will acquire Telugu rights, and it is entirely producer’s choice. The million dollar question is will Venky accept the role of a blind man if he offered the film.

Coming to the latest updates, Venkatesh has already confirmed his next film titled as Guru. The movie has been launched two days back, and it is the official remake of Bollywood film SaalaKhadoos. Venky is acting as a Boxing coach. On the flip side, the actor will also be seen in a cameo role of Naga Chaitanya’s Malayalam remake Premam which is going to release on October 7 on the eve of Dussehra.
