Delhi, June 12: Indian Government is planning to give highest civilian honor Bharat Ratna to Dilip Kumar for his extensive contribution in Hindi film industry.
As per news central government is expecting to give highest civilian award Bharat Ratna to Dilip Kumar Indian film actor who is well known as Tragedy king for his support to Hindi film industry.
93 year old actor Dilip Kumar is not keeping well, it an actor awarded with Bharat Ratna, the center government may have to come to Mumbai to present it to him as his health condition mat not allow him to travel to Delhi. As per news if situation demands president Pranab Mukherjee may travel to Mumbai to present the award to Dilip Kumar at his residence.
Tragedy King Dilip Kumar was born as Muhammad Yusuf Khan on 11th December 1922. He introduced to film industry with Jwar Bhata film in 1944 which is produced by the Bombay Talkies. In his 60 year film career the veteran actor has given several hits including Devdas, Mughal-e-Azam and Ganga Jamuna.
Dilip Kumar considered as one of the utmost actor in the Hindi cinema, the ultimate method actor awarded has received many awards including Film fare and Padma Bhushan in 1991 and Dadasaheb Phalke award in 1994 and Padma Vibhushan in 2015 for his support to Indian film industry. The Pakistan government awarded him with a highest civilian honour Nishan-e-Imtiaz in 1997 year.
