India, July 6: Common Entrance Test (CET) has 38 medical seats left for second round of counselling in general quota. Get admission into Medical courses in colleges all over India.

KEA Common Entrance Test (CET) first counselling has been finished and seats that are vacant for second round of counselling has come to a count of 38. This is surprising all the management team that even after a tough competition in Medicine, there 38 seats remained in General Quota for 2nd round. Many Medical colleges has seats in vacant and on whole, they are counted to 38.

Reports from the college officials says that there are 1,782 medical seats in general quota for the first round of counselling, now even after sorting, this is the large number which we didn’t have till now. It is reported that Bangalore Medical College and Research Institute, Bengaluru has 6 seats in which 5 belongs to general list.

Even after a high demand of medical seats, the count of vacant seats surprised the team of Karnataka Examinations Authority, KEA. In this regards, KEA Administrative Officer S.N. Gangadharaiah said “Those who have cancelled the seats could be top rankers, who are absolutely sure of getting a seat under the AIPMT”.

It is considered that one major factor would be the postponement of the All India Pre-Medical Test (AIPMT) for this number of vacant seats as many of the students moved to others.
