Chennai: Forthcoming Tamil movie, Puli has huge expectations and is set for release in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi languages, Bollywood audience are familiar with Sridevi’s face and not with Vijay.

‘Puli’ has to be the most anticipated movie right now in Kollywood. The film is just two weeks away from getting a release date. Actor Vijay has done the male lead role and Shruti Haasan, Hansika have done the female leads. It is bank-rolled by Shibu Thameens and P.T.Selvakumar under SKT Studios banner.

Censor board recently granted a clean ‘U’ with soe cuts and mutes. We also know that this will be releasing in Telugu and Hindi along with Tamil version. Hindi version promotions started recently and the makers came to know that Vijay is an unknown face to Bollywood audience.

This shocked the makers, from sources within the team, we heard that, the makers called the designing team and they eliminated Vijay from the posters and made Sridevi as the center of attraction. Sridevi is a known face in Bollywood and she has a solid fan base.

Similarly even after Sridevi, the makers are not ready to use Vijay, they decided to use Shruti Haasan next to her. The makers who invested money knows who holds the star value and who doesn’t. Now the buzz began in Bollywood that the trailer has got more number of likes due to Sridevi and not the male lead.
