Chennai: Tamil Nadu Producer’s council has revoked the rules officially by saying that the rules that are said to be implemented are very hard and many families will get effected.
Tamil Nadu Producer’s council earlier implemented lots of rules which were so hard to regulate. And during ‘Paayum Puli’ release on 4th of September, Theatre owners demanded Vendhar movies to compensate losses for ‘Lingaa’. They also said they will not release ‘Paayum Puli’.
As Theatre owners association said like that, Producer’s council immediately said, no movies will get a release from September 4th unless they promise not to demand compensation from the distributors. But most of them opposed this rule during that time itself.
Producer Arun Pandian and few others opposed that decision very soon. They also said this rule is hard to implement as lots of families will get affected. And to escape from that time, the rule was temporarily released and it was said, no new movies will get a release from October 23.
But now during Producer’s council general meeting, it was widely discussed and the makers came to a conclusion that it is hard to implement such rules. So the rules have been revoked officially.
