Telangana: CM KCR and IT Minister K.T Ramarao with the Telangana government is planning to convert Hyderabad roads from BT to CC as soon as possible.

Telangana government is planning to convert Hyderabad roads from BT to CC. Due to this reason industries minister Jupally Krishna Rao and IT Minister K.T Ramarao conduct discussions with representatives of cement manufacturing units in the state to talk about issue for supplying cement to white topping roads and civil works.

At last meeting has been talk about of White Topping Technology and it will be started first tried out on Road No. 10, Banjara Hills, Hyderabad, effectively, sustainable and then time barrage construction.

Many advantages will come with white topping technology; they are thickness of the road will be reduced; maintenance decrease and that will be have long life near 25 – 30 years without doing any repairs.

Previously it was not been used because of non availability of cement and industrialized equipments. For doing this technology an inch of road is rubbed, fibre concrete is laid, powder will be sprayed. For avoiding crakes and expansions curing and groove cutting will be done. The plane has been finished to lay 400 – 500 km road in Hyderabad within two months.

This meeting has organized only for representatives of cement industries to talk about price of the cement. Price Rs. 250/- for each bag has been declared by industries.

The minister requested them to have a look once about decrease the price and give lower reference both roads as well as construction of houses.  He also said that he intended to take this technology to districts as well as villages also.
