Book a flight instantly with Google Flight Search tool in India. A newly implemented feature from the search giant to book instant flight, lowest price info and timing details.
Good news for Indian people who love traveling and shopping around great deals. Google launches the new search tool i.e. ‘Flight Search’ which is used to search for flights, their lowest prices and timings, etc. directly with the search engine. In order to obtain flight details, compare and book, flights users can go through “google.co.in/flights“. It’s available on mobile device, tablet or desktop.
Flight information was available at Google search since 2013 with a limited functionalists. In previous flight search, a user had to enter flight number then Google would display the destination, timings terminal etc. With this newly implemented Google Flight Search tool in India, it expanded to offer everything what user need to search and book a flight.
In this new search just enter the departure and destination cities, and then it will display the all flight details between those cities with comparison. This search feature will helps the users to quickly find, compare and book a flight on mobile, tablet or desktop.

When a user enters departure and destination cities with date and time, google will display the all best flight details with price comparison, time duration and etc.
One more advantage with this new Google Flight Search is, if a user wants to travel from Hyderabad to Bengaluru with flexible dates, just click on departure date field by entering the departure and destination cities. Then it shows the calendar with highlighting the lowest fares for your chosen route on each day. So, you can book your flights when your travel dates are flexible at cheapest price.
Jet Airways and Golbibo has partnered with Google to allow its users to directly book from the feature.
Bad News for OTA’s
It is really bad news for most of India’s online portals like cleartrip, MakemyTrip and Yatra. The large part of their business does come from Google search, but now the most of those queries will be handled by Google flight search itself.
