With the same starring, Kangana Ranaut and R Madhavan, Anand L Rai decided to launch a new movie which is sequel to ‘Tanu Weds Manu’. The movie, ‘Tanu Weds Manu Returns’ will hit the big screen on July 12th 2015.

As we all know that ‘Tanu Weds Manu’ came out on the screen as a blockbuster with both romance and comedy in February 2011. Now, the maker of the movie, Anand L Rai wanted to bring the sequence of the movie, ‘Tanu Weds Manu Returns’ with the same starring Kangana Ranaut and R Madhavan. The entire team thought that only they are habituated to the audience to imagine them in those characters.
Actually, the movie was set to start on 2012 itself, but because of the settings done to Raanjhanna with Anand L Rai and the makers also wanted to have a break to Kangana Ranaut with her clearings of Krrish 3 at that time, they set that down this sequential for some time. But now, the film will set to ready on July 12th of this year to hit the big screen with the extra entertainment, they said.
On the success meet of Raanjhanna in July 2013, the director, Anand L rai stated that the rumours about replacing the original starring of ‘Tanu Weds Manu’ with Imran Khan and Anushka Sharma is not at all true and the sequence is still active with Kangana Ranaut and R Madhavan.
The producer of the movie, Kishore Lulla said, “We are happy to announce that Tanu Weds Manu Returns will hit theatre screens June 12th this year. We are confident that the sequel will be just as memorable and entertaining.” The music will be composed by Krsna and the director has collaborated with the ‘Eros International’ for the movie that which it has been co-produced by ‘Color Yellow Productions’.
