HYDERABAD: The 14th conference of International Building Simulation has begun in Hyderabad on Monday. Nearly, 300 delegates are attending to this seminar from 40 countries.
The 14th International building simulation conference has organized on Monday here. Some speakers have called for this seminar to increasing the use of simulation for designing energy efficient and high level performance in India.
In India, this International Building Performance Simulation Association, simply called IBPSA conference is organizing first time. This event is conducted three days by the International Institute of Information Technology, Hyderabad.
The main goal of it is, advancing the research and practices in different disciplines of building energy analysis and performance simulation. Approximately 300 delegates are attending to this conference from 40 countries. It is expected to helpful for people to learn regarding the field of building performance including designers of building, sustainability managers, architect, developers and researchers.
“Simulation will be played a key role for supporting the execution of building energy codes and for designing high-performance buildings” Vishal Garg, Conference Chair who is the head of a centre for IT in Building Science at the IIT.
Raghupathy, who is the Confederation of Indian Industry-Indian Green Building Council executive director, added that India grown up extremely in the green building field. Today above 3.14 billion square feet green building trail was recorded with IGBC, with one building in 2003.
