Here is latest news for candidates who are eagerly waiting for Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) notification for September month. From this academic year onwards CMAT entrance examination will be conducted once in year and in January. According to the sources, AICTE has decided to conduct entrance examination once in a year to get admissions into B-schools.
All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) conducts the online computer based test, Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) for interested candidates to offer admissions into AICTE approved B-Schools. Earlier AICTE management conducted this national –level test twice a year, but now is has decided to conduct it only once in a year.
The last minute decision which was taken by AICTE would affect nearly 1-lakh students who are eagerly waiting for CMAT September notification. This major decision was taken by the newly appointed chairman of the council Anil Sahastrabuddhe, who took charge in last month.
The officials did not release any notification of the September exam till now, which is regularly issued by the first week of July. As per AICTE officials CMAT entrance exam will not take place in September this year, and it will be held in the first week of January 2016. Notification for CMAT 2016 will be issued by AICTE by the end of this year.
