India: Airtel is going to launch unlimited free calling scheme especially for its broadband customers. Unlimited free local calls at Rs 49 and Local+STD at Rs 99 per month.

 Country’s largest telecom operator Bharathi Airtel is going to launch unlimited free calling schemes for its broadband customers with an aim to boost landline business. The company will be going to offer two plans i.e. unlimited free local calls for Rs.49 with one month validity and unlimited free local and STD calls for Rs.99 per month.

As we already know that recently BSNL network unlimited free calling services has been announced from 9:00 pm to 7:00 am to all mobile and land line networks. In the same way now Airtel is also offering free calling services with limited recharges to any mobile and land line networks.

Airtel offers their services for fixed-line telephone and broadband in 87 districts across the country through telephone and landline for homes as well as offices. At the end of last December it has about 1.49 million broadband customers. At the end of last February BSNL has 1.66 crore land line connections and Airtel has 33.90 lakhs across country.

The company said that “Broadband customers can enjoy free voice calls to any network in the country for 24X7”.

The company is offering unlimited free calling services as per a fair usage policy with specifying limit of 5,000 minutes of free calls. It is also announced that, those schemes will be applicable only for active broadband customers and aren’t available for commercial use.
