Mumbai, 5 May: Bollywood pretty actress Alia Bhatt is to come up as a Bihari Migrant in her upcoming movie of Abhishek Chaubey’s Udta Punjab in which Shahid Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor Khan are also seen.

Alia Bhatt has played many diverse roles in her career of film industry till date. When spoke with her, she told that her character as Bihari Migrant in Udta Punjab is the toughest and most intense character that she played so far. Till now, she has played a role of urban girl, but for the first in this film, she is going to entertain as a rural girl.

Bihari migrant in the sense, Alia will play a role of a daily wage laborer who comes to Punjab for job prospects. Sooner, she falls prey to the drug abuse and trafficking that plagues the region. This character is completely from a new space to her.

Starring  Shahid Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor and Diljit Dosanj in lead roles, Alia Bhatt said that this is the toughest that she played so far in Bollywood film industry. News from film makers said that the complete film tackles and revolves with the issue of drug abuse in Punjab.

“Udta Punjab” with its stars is busy in shooting now at Punjab to release and entertain audience soon in the theaters.
