Chennai: Tamil star Arya has taken Rajinikanth movie title. He is acting in Thanikaattu Raja, which will be directed by Manjappai Fame director Raghavan.

These days it has been a common trait to use Super Star’s title in most of the movies Jiiva’s upcoming movie is titled as Pokkiriraja and is waiting to be released at the earliest. After that Arya is acting in Thanikaattu Raja, which will be directed by Manjappai Fame director Raghavan.

Arya acted in Naan Kadavul as ‘saiva priest’ which was directed by Kollywood fame and lead director Bala. The actor is all set to act in Thanikaattu Raja as a tribal guy. The movie’s other actors are not yet selected and the director will announce it officially as early as possible.

Rajinikanth has acted in Thanikaattu Raja in 1982 under the directorial of V.C. Guhanathan. In the movie Sridevi, Sripruya and Jaisankar have acted in the crucial roles. After 34 years Arya is presently acting in the title.

Catherine Tresa is acting as the female lead in the movie. Sources have said that Arya is acting as a tribal guy and it is expected that Catherine Tresa too will act as a tribal girl in Thanikaattu Raja.
