‘Bajirao Mastani’ is one of the most anticipated movies in Hindi cinema. The movie is directed and produced by Sanjay Leela Bhansali. Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra are doing female lead roles.

Sanjay Leela bhansali has scored only the song sequences and Background score is scored by Sanchit Balhara. Technical team features Sudeep Chatterjee for cinematography and Rajesh G Pandey for cuts. Tanvi Azmi, Vaibhav Tatwawdi, Milind Soman, Ayush Tandon and Sanjay Mishra are part of the cast.

In this case, Awais Bahadur who claimed that he belongs to eighth generation of Bajirao and Mastani lodged a case against the movie in the Indore bench of the Madhya Pradesh High Court.

He said that lots of scenes in the movie were objectionable and it has shown his ancestors in some bad light. Now the High Court has clearly stated that the movie is based on a book and it is part of history and not the entire history.  The court has ordered for next hearing by next week.
