Chennai: Tamil horror movie DeMonte Colony written and directed by Ajay Gnanamuthu has got high TRP ratings from Sun TV yesterday when compared to other TV Channels.

TV Channels usually clash high against each other for TRP ratings. The clash has went to an extent where they are trying to grab new projects. Sun TV in particular has been a master mind in grabbing rights of many successful movies.

Yesterday being a weekend, they have premiered ‘DeMonte Colony’ for the first time. Next week the channel will be busy with Diwali releases. So they planned to grab the maximum by telecasting it a week’s time earlier.

The ratings have brought down other channels drastically down. This came as a huge shocker for most of them.  The TRP ratings for yesterday is given below,

Kalaignar – 55984

Jaya – 21065
