For many years YRF, Yash Raj Films has been introducing flicks with mainly small towns in the scenery. There is no doubt this step is docile nice outputs and so they didn’t ever thought about the negative for continuing the same formula. Now, they produced ‘Dum Laga Ke Haisha’, a predictable love story set in Haridwar that which did equal quality of fun, romance and eventually entertainment.

Storyline

The story of the movie rotates around Sandhya Verma (Bhumi Pednekar) and Prem Prakash Tiwari (Ayushmann Khurrana), and their married life. Sanhhya is a nice high school teacher in Haridwar but obsessed with her excessive weight of 85 kgs. Prem Prakash Tiwari, fan of Kumar Sanu and runs an audio cassette shop in the same place.

The one person that Prem always is afraid of is his father (Sanjay Mishra) who thought him as ‘good for nothing’. The situations or rather say a word that his parents had made to a friend years ago vigour Prem to get hitched to Sandhya. As our guesses he is clearly disappointed with her and with no solution but to resist his life with her.

Prem keeps a distance from Sandhya. And the climax turned as with his realization towards the relationship. The theme of the movie is very good and realistic. It says that the love of a human should be from and in heart but not on the way that they appear outside.
