Mumbai: Emraan Hashmi started shooting for his upcoming Azhar movie, a biopic of India cricket star Mohammad Azharuddin, Bollywood movie directed by Tony D’Souza.
Bollywood actor Emraan Hashmi says, the journey of Azhar has begun. The actor started shooting for Azhar movie, which is a biopic of former Indian Cricket captain Mohammad Azharuddin. The movie is directed by Tony D’Souza, actor Emraan Hashmi plays a role of former India cricket captain Azharuddin and is produced by Ekta Kapoor.
The Hamari Adhuri Kahani actor shared news regarding shooting of his upcoming movie Azhar through Twitter along with a picture of clapboard and he asked for best wishes from his fans. He says “We begin Azhar’s journey……. Wish us luck”.
Emraan and Prachi Desai are playing lead roles in this film, and it is being produced under banners Balaji Motion Pictures and MSM Motion Pictur by Ekta Kapoor, Shobha Kapoor and Sneha Rajani. The makers of movie have planned to release movie on 13th May, 2016. Nargis Fakhri and Huma Qureshi are also playing key roles in this.
Azhar is a movie about the life history of former India cricket captain Mohammad Azharuddin. The story of movie will revolves about the journey of cricketer’s career and personnel life, which have observed several ups and downs.
