Hyderabad, June 12: iPhone maker Foxconn Technology to build first apple manufacturing plant in India at Hyderabad. A report from Government official’s.

According to the news Foxconn Group president Calvin Chin and FIH Mobile Ltd chairman Vincent Whtong has discussed with Telangana state Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao on this Thursday to set up a mobile manufacturing company at Hyderabad.

The official said that the state is favourable to setting up industrial units and Telangana State Industrial Project Approval and Self Certification System is also approved for this. KCR invited the industries with specific plans to invest on Telangana state and CM directed the industries about the government plans to set up a mobile manufacturing hub and told them that many mobile phone companies have come forward to establish their units.

The chief minister said that, appropriate land for mobile manufacturing company will be allotted for the hub with all facilities and infrastructure which will provide around two lakh jobs for Telangana state people.

Foxconn is the world’s biggest contract maker of electronic goods; recently Information Technology Minister K. Tarakarama Rao met the delegates of Foxconn and prepared a detailed presentation on the investment opportunities in the state.

As per reports chin’s is seeking for location to set up 10-12 manufacturing facilities and data centers in India.
