IIMC Entrance Exam Dates 2016 – Indian Institute of Mass Communication (IIMC) has announced the PG Diploma courses entrance examination dates. The test will be held on 29, 30 May, 2016.

Indian Institute of Mass Communication (IIMC) has announced entrance exam dates and application submission dates. The entrance exam is conducted for all PG Diploma courses in English and Hindi journalism, Radio and TV journalism, Advertising and PR relations and Odia journalism for the academic year 2016-17. Interested aspirants are advised to check the below given eligibility criteria. The candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance in the written exam and interview.

Eligibility criteria:

Educational qualification:

To apply for this entrance exam, candidates should be a graduate in any discipline. Students appearing for their final year examinations can also appear for the entrance test. Final year students must show their final year mark sheet/provisional certificate by August 31, 2016.

Age limit:

The date of birth of general category candidates should be August 1, 1991 or later.

The date of birth of SC/ST/handicapped students should be August 1, 1986 or later.

While OBC candidates’ date of birth should be August 1, 1988 or later.

Important dates:

Last date for sale and receipt of application forms – May 6, 2016

The entrance examination for PG diploma courses in Hindi/English journalism (9 am to 11 am), Radio and TV journalism (12noon to 2 pm), Advertising and Public relations (3 pm to 5 pm) is on – May 29, 2016.

The entrance examination for Odia journalism is on) – May 30, 2016 (9 am to 11 am).

Interview Dates: Last week of June/first week of July 2016

Academic session begins: Last week of July/first week of August 2016.
