The Sri Venkateshwara Institute of Medical Science (SVIMS), Tirupati has invited applications for admission to Postgraduate Medical Doctorate (MD) Courses 2016 session.
SVIMS Tirupati will be issued the Sri Venkateshwara Institute of Medical Science Post Graduate Entrance Test (SVIMSPGET) 2016 E-Hall Ticket/ Entry card/ Admit Card through their Official website www.svmstpt.ap.nic.in
The SVIMSPGET Computer Based test 2016 Hall tickets will be available to download online from 20th April 2016 and the SVIMSPGET Entrance test date is 24th April 2016 (2.30 pm to 4.45 pm). All those candidates who applied for SVIMSPGET 2016 admission into Post Graduate Medical (MD/MS) Courses for academic session 2016-2017 under SVIMS-Tirupati, can download their E-Hall Ticket through online easily as find the Entrance test Pattern here below.
SVIMSPGET 2016 Pattern of Examination:
- The test consists of 150 MCQ type questions
- The duration of the exam is 135 minutes.
- Each answer with correct response shall be awarded one mark.
- There is no negative mark for incorrect response.
- Zero mark will be given for the questions not answered.

- The online application successfully applicants for SVIMSPGET 2016 Entrance test are advised to download their hall ticket and appear for entrance test. The Entrance Test is through online (Computer Based Test).
How to Apply..?
- Applicant seeking admission to Entrance Examination is required to apply through Online.
- Log on to svimstpt.ap.nic.in and navigate to link “Apply Online SVIMSPGET-2016”.
- The applicant must read the “Prospectus” carefully and fulfill all the requirements for filling the application through online. Click “Apply On-line” and read “Instructions” given in the Screen. Then click “Register” for opening Basic Registration Page.
- An account must be created by using a valid e-mail id, Applicant’s name and Mobile number. The applicant’s full name should be entered as given in the class X certificate.
- The system will generate an application number and password.
- The same will be sent to the applicant’s registered email id and registered mobile number by way of SMS provided during the registration process. The candidate can login to the application using the credentials sent to their registered e-mail id/SMS to their registered mobile number.
Form-Step I: On successful login candidate will be directed to Personal Details page. Carefully fill the required details. The mandatory columns mentioned with must be filled and click on “save”.
Form-Step II: Photo Upload, Signature Upload & Uploading the Documents.
E-Hall Ticket for the Computer-based Entrance Test shall be available for download to the eligible candidates, whose applications are complete and accurate in all aspects from April 20th, 2016 onwards. The e-Hall Ticket will contain the application Number, Name, Photo, Signature and Venue of the Entrance test. For any queries, the applicant shall contact through E-mail: [email protected] mentioning the application number.
Exam Fee:
Entrance Exam fee for SVIMSPGET is Rs. 2000/- which is to be paid through credit/ debit card/ online transfer. No other mode of payment will be accepted at any cost. All banking charges for transfer will have to be borne by the candidate.
Procedure to download hall ticket
- Login to : http://svimstpt.ap.nic.in/admissions.html
- Find the E-Hall Ticket link and open it
- Enter your Application Number and Date of Birth
- Check the hall ticket contains details such as Application Number, Name, Photo, Signature and Venue of the Entrance test.
- Finally take print out of E-Hall Ticket and appear for entrance test
Note: Candidates are must required to bring their e-Hall Ticket and one of the original photo ID (PAN card/ Driving License/ Aadhar card/ Passport/ Voter id/ any govt. issued ID Proof) at the test center to allow your exam.

Instructions for candidates
- Candidates should report at the test venue One hour before the start of test.
- No entry will be permitted after commencement of the Examination.
- Carry only e-Hall Ticket and original photo ID proof inside the hall.
- No candidate will be allowed to take the examination without producing the valid e-Hall Ticket and photo ID.
