Imran Khan is a Pakistani politician (member of Pakistani National Assembly) married former BBC anchor Reham Khan at intimate wedding ceremony. But his sisters dint attend for the marriage.
Imran Khan married his fiance Reham in Islamabad. From several months rumours of their marriage had been circulating. Few close friend of Imran confirmed that a dowry of around £850 (Rs. 82,000) agreed for the bride.
The Imran (62 years old) has tied-up with BBC weather girl Reham Khan (41 years old). She is a divorced mother of three kids who is former BBC weather presenter in regional news programme South Today. Most popular and best cricketer Imran played for international cricket for two decades in 20th century. In his team lead Pakistan won World Cup. The wedding kept small to honour Peshawar school victims of terrorist attack last month.
Khan also told the Pakistani reporters that getting married “isn’t a crime”.
In 1995 he married Jemima Golsmith but fortunately they took divorced due to some sort of personal issues in 2004. After his retirement from cricket in focused his attention towards social work entered into politics. Later he was set-up his own party named “Tehrik e Insaaf”.
According to report Imran Khan’s sisters did not attend for wedding ceremony. Aleema Khan said “We were neither aware nor informed of the nikkah prior to this.”
“I am going to Pakistan to share the good news of my marriage with the nation. have nothing to hide,” he was quoted as saying by Pakistani media, which spoke to him at Heathrow airport late on Monday night before he caught a flight to Islamabad.
