New Delhi, June 16: Indian Govt launched digital employment exchange program i.e. industries online portal for job seekers who are in the micro small and medium enterprises (MSME) sector.

Indian Government has launched the digital employment exchange program for job seekers in MSME sector. The web portal for online employment exchange is www.eex.dcmsme.gov.in, where job seekers can find employment and Industries can find suitable and skilful employees.

The government launched this portal with an aim to building communication between investors and improving efficiencies in service delivery in the micro, small and medium enterprises (MSME) sector. The portal provides the platform for experts where they can find out employments.

MSME minister Kalraj Mishra has inaugurated the portal and said that “As a part of Prime Minister’s Vision of Digital India, Skill India and Make in India, ministry has developed this employment exchange portal for job seekers, where they can find employers and vice-versa”.

He added that “It is a game changer, it took over one year time to prepare it and currently it is only for manufacturing sector. This portal will help the industries to find out skilled and suitable employees by reducing time and cost for searches. The ministry will soon add more features to make the portal as more friendly to industry and entrepreneurs”.

Amarendra Sinha, additional secretary and development commissioner said that “So far more than 200,000 people registered for this and it is free of cost for the next month for both employers and job seekers”.

As per reports the MSME sector provides employment to large scale of population and contributes 45% in the country’s total exports and 40% in the manufacturing sector.
