Hyderabad: 61st International Pharmaceutical Students Federation (IPSF) congress is going to be held at Hyderabad for 10 days, officials said that this will be started from 31st July.

Pearl City Hyderabad will be the host for 10 days meeting of 61st International Pharmaceutical Student’s Federation (IPSF), starting on 31st July. A total of 600 national and international students will attend the 10 days event, which is conducting with an aim to support the students.

It is the first time that the event is being held in the country and is sponsored by TSIIC and others. IPSF is a non-governmental, non-political and non-religious organization which represents around 2,70,000 pharmacy students and recent graduates across 67 countries worldwide.

It is a leading annual meeting for large number of pharmacy students across the world at one place. IPSF is a 10 days event, every year conducts in different country. Presidents of IPSF, large number of Pharmacy students across the world and professionals from around 85 countries participate in this mega event.

It is a big platform to discuss about issues related to Pharmacy, which can help the development of Pharma education across the globe. For the first time the event is organized in Hyderabad and the educational theme of event is bridging gaps in current pharmacy education and the scientific seminar is about Catalysing innovation in manufacturing and delivery of pharmaceutical products’.

As per sources total 600 students and 320 international pharma students from 55 countries is going to participate in this event. Telangana IT minister K.T Rama Rao and Health minister Laxma Reddy will attend the event. The congress will focus on campaigns, general assembly, industrial visits, workshops, clinical skill presentations and compounding events other than social evenings.
