Sriharikota, June 17: ISRO is likely to launch three Disaster Monitoring Constellation Satellites named DMC 1, 2 and 3 for United Kingdom firm on July 10. Here is a brief report on it.

The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) has planned to launch three Disaster Monitoring Constellation satellites named DMC 1, 2 and 3. The ISRO is planning to launch these three satellites for UK firm on 10^th July, 2015.

As per ISRO the three satellites will be launched on July 10^th, 2015 at onboard a PSLV from the first launch pad of Satish Dhawan Space Centre at Sriharikota in Andhra Pradesh. And these satellites will be launched for UK-based Surrey Satellite Technology Limited (SSTL). The launch window has already been worked out.

While talking about Mangalyaan, Which is the India’s first interplanetary mission, ISRO official said that the blackout phace between ISRO and Mangalyaan is going to end on this 22^nd June, 2015. The Spacecraft is in autonomous mode from 8^th June 2015 and it will back to normal mode on 22^nd June, 2015. During this 15 days time Mangalyaan is in autonomous mode and it will not do any communication with base station. And this is the first time where the ISRO is handling this situation.
