Janatha Garage is a bilingual film made simultaneously in both Telugu and Malayalam with the same title. Coming to the story plot, Jr NTR plays a role of an IIT graduate named Anand who loves nature and encourage people to plant saplings.
He fights against the people who try to harm the tress and environment. On the other hand, his uncle Mohanlal also fights if anybody misbehaved with people. For few reasons he will be forced to remain mute. He is looking for a strong personality who can take up the responsibility from him and be his right hand.

After the completion of his graduation, Tarak joined with his uncle at his Garage. At that time he knows about mining mafia which is spoiling in activities that harm the environment. He fights against with UnniMukundan. Unni’s father is a good person and NTR came to know about his father. The interesting twist is his father, who is none other than Mohanlal. Tarak goes to Mohanlal to complain against his son activities and he deeply influenced by Mohanlal’s advice to take care of people around him along with nature. That’s why Junior NTR joined hands with Mohanlal and the two will begin their journey to fight for justice.
NTR and Mohanlal’s action was the main highlight for the film. The film contains all commercial elements, and it will be a sure shot hit for Tarak. Devi Sri Prasad music is superb, and he has given an excellent music for the film. Kajal is doing a special item song for the first time in the film, and she mesmerized the audience with his glamor in Pakka Local song.
