Chennai: Jayam Ravi’s next Tamil movie Miruthan will be released to this Pongal, the Kollywood film is made under Shakti Soundar Rajan direction.

‘Jayam’ Ravi who is basking in success of ‘Thani Oruvan’ is keen to continue the same success level. He is already busy with his next project. He right now acts for the movie ‘Miruthan’ under Shakti Soundar Rajan direction. The movie is labelled as a Horror genre.

Lakshmi Menon is doing the female lead role and Baby Anaika who stole our hearts from ‘Yennai Arindhaal’ movie is doing a crucial role. The movie has reached final stages of shooting. The project will be funded by Michael Rayyaapan under Global Infotainment (P) Ltd production house.

The first look poster was released recently and it got some sound response from fans. This is already labelled as Tamil cinema’s first Zombie Apocalypse movie. The poster also conveyed the message that the movie will be a Pongal release.

Already Surya’s ’24’, Bala’s ‘Thaara Thappatai’, STR’s ‘Idhu Namma Aalu’ were scheduled for Pongal release. So this will be the fourth movie to join the list. However everything is subjected to last minute change based on the post-production works.
