Hyderabad: Junior NTR is going to remake the Tamil movie “Kaththi” directed by AR Murugadoss starring with Vijay in Telugu, Tollywood.

We have heard news about Telugu remake of Tamil Blockbuster movie “Kaththi” which is directed by AR Murugadoss. In the past few months, filmmakers of movie had approached several top Tollywood stars to remake this in Telugu. In recent time, as per Bollywood news it is known that Jr. NTR and Pawan Kalyan are showing interest to do that film.

Among these two, finally NTR has given his nod to act in a remake movie with some changes in script according to Telugu audience interest. As per recent report ‘Balupu’ fame Gopichand Malineni is going to direct the film which will be jointly produced by Nallamallapu Srinivas and Tagore Madhu.

If Telugu remake of “Kaththi” movie materialises, it will be first remake movie of Jr NTR. As per filmmakers, shooting is expected to be soon after completing of NTR present movie with Sukumar. The director Gopichand malineni is busy with his current project “Pandaga Chesko” and will be starting ‘Kaththi’ remake after successfully completing his present project.

This is a Tamil star Vijay’s blockbuster movie in the year of 2014. Samantha played main role which is directed by AR Murugadoss. This was one of the biggest hits of year and collections on the opening day crossed over Rs. 23 crore at the worldwide box-office.

As per Tamil Version movie, story is about a young man who fights against a corporate company to save farmlands in his native village. Tamil Star ‘Vijay’ was playing a dual role in this movie and considered as huge hit in kollywood, filmmakers are hopeful that Telugu version would also follow suit.
