Chennai: Kaadhal movie actress Sandhya who won best actress award with that movie has got married with Venkat Chandrasekaran who originates from Kerala at Guruvayoor temple.

Sandhya started her career with the movie ‘Kaadhal’ in 2004. That movie was directed by Director Balaji Sakthivel and it was one of the cult classics made in Kollywood. The movie even fetched Tamil Nadu State Award for Sandhya. She won ‘Best Actress’.

In her 11 year career span, She has acted around forty movies in Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada languages. She now got married with Venkat Chandrasekaran who originates from Kerala. The marriage took place at Guruvayoor temple.

Venkat Chandrasekaran is the CEO of an IT firm in Chennai. His residence is in Ashok Nagar and Sandhya is from Vadapalani. Love blossomed between the two and parents converted the love into marriage.

After trying the knot, Actress Sandhya said, “The incessant rains and overflowing floods in Chennai made us to keep the marriage on a low key in Kerala. We are not even going to keep reception at Chennai. We will provide the entire amount which we planned to spend on marriage for the victims.”
