Cochin, 5 May: An Inspector general of police officer was asked to leave the examination hall after he was caught cheating during a university law entrance exam in Kalamasserry.

As per reports Inspector general of police T S Jose was asked to leave the examination hall by the invigilator before 30 minutes of time at St Paul’s College in Kalamasserry for cheating exam. The invigilator has found that he was copying from a textbook, and then immediately asked to leave the examination hall but the T S Jose, denied that he cheated and described that the incident is a plan to insult him.

The invigilators of examination at St Paul’s College said that, they weren’t mind about Jose designation and they will report to Mahatma Gandhi University, which is conducting the university law examination and asked authorities to take an action against him in this cheating case.

Vice Chancellor of Mahatma Gandhi (MG) University Babu Sebastian said that, “The college authorities have send the roll number and details of candidate who caught in examination cheating case and he was found as Mr. Jose and he has been barred from the remaining law examinations for this term”.

However Mr. Jose said to reporters that, “The examination was held between 10:00 am to 1:00 pm and I left the examination hall around 11:30, I have done nothing wrong and I will attend the last examination tomorrow”.

The state government directed the additional general of police Shankar Reddy to submit a report regarding this immediately. This is the first time in Kerala to see such a high-profile case of malpractice during exam.
