Andhra Pradesh: Govt started home delivery of liquor by using SMS service in all 13 districts of the state. AP Govt also gave permission to shopping malls to sell liquor to shops.

After Liquor tetra pack now AP government has introduced liquor door delivery in the state. This service will be very useful for those who want to purchase liquor sitting at home. AP government gave permission to liquor shops in 13 districts to supply liquor to customers based on SMS service.

The consumer need to send a message to mandal office and intimate the booking details. These details will be forwarded to respective liquor shop, where your order get processed and reach your door steps. Let it be for increasing sales or for the comfort of consumer but this new process might be a good news for liquor consumers.

This system was already in practice in few villages of the state. Now it expanded throughout the state. As per new policy five shopping malls in Rajahmundry, Kakinada, Visakhapatnam, Vijayawada and Guntur have been given permission by the government to sell liquor to shoppers also. These shoppers can sell liquor in retail to the consumers. This process will increase the sales of Liquor in these cities and around and very easy for the customers to purchase also.

What ever be the intention of the AP government in giving special offers to liquor consumers but it should face to consequences also.
