Chennai: Actor Madhavan confirmed that he didn’t sign nor approve any project and he denied the rumors for Thani Oruvan remake for Aravind Swamy’s role.

Madhavan has not been seen for a long time in Kollywood. The actor was acting in a Tamil-Hindi bi-lingual project titled ‘Irudhi Sutru’. He will be seen as a boxer in the movie. There were lots of speculations regarding his next movie.

Mohan Raja directed the movie ‘Thani Oruvan’. Nayantara did female lead role and Aravind Swamy reprised role of baddie. Kalpathi S. Aghoram produced the movie under their banner AGS cinemas. Hip Hop Aadhi is the music composer.

The remake rights for Telugu version were purchased by Producer D.V.V.Danayya and Ram Charan is doing the lead role. The hunt for female lead is on as Kajal Aggarwal and Samantha walked out of the movie. Surender Reddy directs the venture.

It was earlier said that Madhavan will fill in shoes of Aravind Swamy. But he has denied rumors. And he tweeted, “I have not signed nor approved any other project in any language. Right now my life is only Saala Khadoos and Irrudhi Suttru.”
