Hyderabad:  Tollywood Prince Mahesh Babu has adopted  Siddhapuram village of Kottur mandal in Mahabubnagar district from Telangana state.

Super star Mahesh Babu became real hero with an adoption of Siddhapuram village in Telangana state as part of the initiative to give back to the society. The actor confirmed the news today by posting on his microblogging account.

Super star Mahesh Babu inspired from the reel story of his recent blockbuster movie Srimanthudu and decided to adopt any village from Telangana district. Today he confirmed that, he has chosen Siddhapuram village of Kottur mandal in Mahabubnagar district to adopt.

On the request of Telangana Minister for Panchayatraj, Rural Development and Information Technology K.T Rama Rao, Mahesh Babu has decided to adopt a village.

The actor posted that “After much thought @KTRTRS garu and myself have chosen to adopt Siddhapuram village of Kottur mandal in Mahabubnagar district (sic), Looking forward to a constructive and meaningful journey ahead :)”.

Srimanthudu is a 2015 Telugu drama film written and directed by Koratala Siva under Mythri movie makers, in this flick Mahesh Babu played the heir of multi-millionaire and adopts his family village, with this story line the movie become a blockbuster. Shruthi Haasan, Jagapati Babu, Rajendra Prasad, Sampath and Harish Uthaman played pivotal roles in this family drama.
